A sustainable future is not imagined, it is built, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the building blocks for it. The Sustainable Development Council launches the first ever national level SDG Art competition (Global Goals Art), an urban art initiative that promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. We are challenging youth under 32 to think critically and draw about the Sustainable Development Goals and how youth will take a leadership role in achieving these 17 goals through art. The SDG Art competition promotes social responsibility among children and youth at a very young age and mobilises our youth to volunteer, become part of the team to achieve the SDGS, promote social values, and educate the participants from all economic backgrounds on different social issues through their creativity.

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). It’s now seven years on, and we have more work than ever to do. These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.
